Netflix made the announcement on their official X account on Monday. The second season of the show is now slated to debut in 2025. The series debuted on Netflix on Nov. 21.
Ted Danson stars in the single-camera comedy, which is based on the Oscar-nominated Chilean documentary “The Mole Agent.”
The cast of the series also includes Stephanie Beatriz, Eugene Cordero, Sally Struthers, Marc Evan Jackson, Kerry O’Malley, John Getz, Miles Fowler, Clyde Kusatsu, Lori Tan Chinn, Susan Ruttan, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Veronica Cartwright.
Mike Schur created the series and executive produces under his Fremulon banner along with Morgan Sackett, David Miner of 3 Arts Entertainment, Maite Alberdi and Marcela Santibañez of Micromundo Producciones, and Julie Goldman and Christopher Clements of Motto Pictures. Universal Television, where Schur is under an overall deal, is the studio.
