After teasing Alice in Borderland Season 3 with their “YOU’RE NOT READY” video in 2025, Netflix has officially confirmed the hit series will stream in September 2025.
The teaser featured a glimpse of several major series, including Squid Game and Stranger Things, alongside Alice in Borderland Season 3. While the video hinted at Netflix’s 2025 lineup, it didn’t provide specific streaming dates. However, on February 12, Netflix revealed via X (formerly Twitter), “ALICE IN BORDERLAND SEASON 3 🃏 SEPTEMBER 2025 🃏”.
Based on Haro Aso‘s manga, Alice in Borderland follows Ryohei Arisu, a young man obsessed with video games and spends his time hanging out with his friends. After witnessing fireworks at a train station, the group suddenly find themselves in an alternate, deserted Tokyo. Stranded in this dangerous world, they must survive deadly games to uncover the mystery behind their situation and find a way back home.
The live-action adaptation stars Kento Yamazaki as Arisu and Tao Tsuchiya as Yuzuha Usagi. Premiering on December 10, 2020, the series released its eight-episode second season on December 22, 2022. Netflix officially announced the third season on September 27, 2023, with a confirmed streaming date of September 2025.
