It may be summer, but TV never slows down.

Despite the broadcast networks going all-in on unscripted summer offerings, the streaming services are picking up the slack as far as scripted content is concerned.

Hulu has The Kollective, which, despite the name, is not a new entry in the Kardashians franchise.

(Netflix)

Then there’s Netflix, which has the sophomore season of the Arnold Schwarzenegger dramedy FUBAR.

Check out the complete list of TV shows we think should be on your radar this week.

Tuesday, June 10

The Kollective (Hulu)

It feels like journalism and the pursuit of truth are constantly under attack, and at a time like now, when journalists are attacked live on TV every day, it is all the more critical.

In Hulu’s new thriller, The Kollective, a group of young citizen journalists undertakes the challenging task of seeking the truth.

It won’t be an easy task, with lives at stake. Parties incentivized to conceal the truth employ every means at their disposal to prevent it from being revealed.

Natascha McElhon, Celine Buckens, Felix Mayr, Gregg Sulkin, Grégory Montel, Felix Mayr, Karel Roden, Cassiopee Mayance, Martha Canga Antonio, and Ralph Amoussou star in the 10-episode season.

The Snake (FOX)

We had plenty of Extracted Fanatics out there, so we have to ask: will anyone be tuning into The Snake?

Frankly, we’ve read the rules to this game half a dozen times, and it still doesn’t quite make sense, so maybe we’ll just need to see it in action. We’ll have 15 contestants, adept at manipulation, ranging from OnlyFans creators and police officers to poker players and pastors.

Yes, you read that correctly. And there they all are in some competition to manipulate each other and be the last snake slithering. Anyway, see if you can make sense of this!

Wednesday, June 11

Nine Perfect Strangers (Hulu)

After that Nine Perfect Strangers cliffhanger, it was teased that David was Tatiana’s father. In Episode 5, while he and Masha are high on psychedelic drugs, we’ll learn about their past.

This should be a vital episode since Masha brought him to the resort for a reason, and her daughter was everything to her.

David has been such a mystery that it will be interesting to delve into his history and explore how his professional and personal life intersect.

8/7c The Real Housewives of Miami (Bravo)

It’s been a long 16 months without The Real Housewives of Miami, but the ladies are ready to bring the fyah when Season 7 premieres!

The sneak peek teases plenty of twists and turns for the group, but perhaps one of the most surprising is a once-solid friendship on the rocks.

FUBAR (Netflix)

The Arnold Schwarzenegger action comedy FUBAR returns this week, and the second season is just as outrageous as the first.

Most everyone returns for the second season, which sees newcomer Carri-Anne Moss enter the fray, and continues to deliver the wild stunts and silly one-liners that made the first season enough of a hit for Netflix to renew it.

The second season picks up shortly after the events of the finale, and you get plenty of time to get reacquainted with the characters before all hell breaks loose yet again.

We’ll have some fun interviews next week with some of the cast, and we suggest you get into the season early to avoid spoilers!

Deep Cover (Prime Video)

Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom, and Nick Mohammed star in this fun action-comedy.

An improv teacher begins to wonder if she has missed her calling, but after an undercover cop ropes her into a mission of her own, she somehow manages to recruit two of her students (Bloom and Mohammed) into infiltrating Brian’s most dangerous crime gang while posing as criminals.

Nothing can possibly go wrong there, right?!

9/8c Alone (History)

Alone returns for Season 12, and for the first time, the contestants will compete in one of the hottest and driest locations – the Great Karoo in South Africa.

Typically, the survivalists get dropped off in an arctic climate in Canada, so a hot, dry climate will bring new threats and challenges.

Survivalists will need to worry about purifying water, the threat of dehydration, and potential dangers such as snakes. I’d hate those!

But it looks gorgeous there if they can survive. This is one not to miss if you like reality and survivalist shows.

Romcon: Who the F*ck is Jason Porter? (Prime Video)

Where are our documentary Fanatics? We might have a winner on our hands with this disasterously intriguing two-part documentary!

A successful and totally unsuspecting real estate agent named Heater falls for “Jace” (note the quotation marks, friends), and she thought she found her soulmate. But life comes at you fast.

Well, in this case, it comes three years later when she realizes her soulmate is a notorious con man who specializes in romantic deception. Don’t you hate it when that happens?

Be sure to let us know what you’re watching this week.
