At its annual Industry Panel during Anime Expo 2025, Crunchyroll revealed big news for anime fans around the world. The streaming platform announced several new shows, returning favorites, and exclusive first looks.
The anime streamer confirmed that Black Clover will return for a brand-new season, with Studio Pierrot back in charge of animation. Fans at the panel saw a teaser trailer and a special message from creator Yuki Tabata, who thanked fans for supporting the series during its 10th anniversary.
Crunchyroll also announced a new anime: Daemons of the Shadow Realm. Based on a manga by Fullmetal Alchemist creator Hiromu Arakawa, the show will be produced by studio bones and directed by Masahiro Ando (Sword of the Stranger).
Crunchyroll went on to reveal an exciting lineup of upcoming anime premieres, special projects, and exclusive collaborations fans can look forward to over the next year:
- Voice actor Yusuke Kobayashi appeared on stage to confirm that Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4 will stream on Crunchyroll in 2026.
- Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 will premiere in 2026.
- Classroom of the Elite 2nd Year is coming soon.
- The comedy-action anime Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider will debut in October 2025.
- The romantic comedy You and I Are Polar Opposites will premiere in January 2026.
- Crunchyroll teased Sentenced to Be a Hero, a new dark fantasy anime streaming in January 2026.
- To celebrate Ouran High School Host Club’s 20th anniversary, Crunchyroll announced a fashion collaboration with sweater brand Steady Hands.
