Aethon Books announced a new partnership with TurtleMe to release updated editions of The Beginning After The End.
The publisher shared in its official statement:
“After many years of success, including an anime adaptation on Crunchyroll, TurtleMe’s bestselling series The Beginning After the End has officially concluded as a weekly webnovel.
We are thrilled to partner with TurtleMe to revamp the ebooks and publish them exclusively on Kindle & Kindle Unlimited for the first time. The books will undergo another round of professional edits and feature stunning new covers!
TBATE remains a staple for progression fantasy readers, and these editions will give fans a definitive version worth revisiting. The relaunch begins in March 2026—mark your calendars!”

Alongside Aethon’s ebooks, Rocketship Entertainment will release the series in print. On August 5, the publisher launched a Kickstarter campaign offering both softcover and hardcover editions of Volumes 1 to 3, along with exclusive merch. Fans fully funded the campaign in less than 15 minutes.
Author TurtleMe (Brandon Lee) began writing The Beginning After the End while searching for an escape from his corporate job. He first published the series on RoyalRoad before moving it to Tapas, where it quickly became one of the platform’s most popular titles. Its success led to a hit webcomic adaptation that has already drawn more than 75.5 million views.
