“Expect the unexpected” is Big Brother‘s slogan at this point, but I don’t think anyone expected Rachel Reilly to fall prey to The White Locus twist that played out following Thursday’s live eviction episode.
Thanks to poor planning on CBS’s part, Big Brother Live Feed watchers are already up to date on a stunning elimination, a HOH winner, nominations, and now the Veto winner.
And, it’s going to get worse because a new episode of Big Brother won’t air until Tuesday at 8/7c. It’s pretty bizarre.
When the live feeds returned after being down for over 24 hours on Friday, we learned that former winner Rachel was eliminated during a competition.
She didn’t get a chance to play in the Veto or the BB Blockbuster, nor was she able to campaign for votes to save her game.

She was just gone, and fans and Big Brother alumni are speaking out about the instant elimination and how it detracts from the game.
Rachel’s Exit is One of Big Brother’s Most Shocking Twists
If anything, Rachel’s exit sets up a shocking final few weeks because people were scared to put her on the block.
But do we really believe Big Brother producers won’t go back on the twist and bring her back as an accomplice of the Mastermind?
The backlash has been intense, and love or hate Rachel, the twist is just another deviation from a tried and tested reality TV formula.

In any case, the house has been in a bit of a strange spot since Rachel’s elimination, as people are realizing it’s time to make big moves, given the season is over in just three weeks.
When the feeds returned, we learned that Ava started the White Locust competition, and Rachel pleaded with her to pick her to play first.
Rachel clearly recalled the format from Big Brother Reindeer Games and knew it would be an excellent opportunity for other players to take a shot at her.
But the game had to move on, and Lauren was the ninth Head of Household of the week. Details are scarce about what that competition entailed.

Lauren nominated Ashley, Morgan, and Will for eviction, which left Morgan scrambling. Morgan thought that their mutual affiliation with Vince would keep her safe under a Lauren Head of Household.
After having the worst HOH week of the season, Lauren is clearly ready to make big moves to secure her path to the endgame.
Did Morgan Manage to Save Her Game?
Morgan melted down on the live feeds, questioning whether she was the target and whether Vince could find a way to curry some favor with Lauren.
Lauren has a backdoor plan in mind for Keanu. It isn’t very smart to go after Keanu at this point because he kept her safe last week.

Keanu would have ridden with Lauren, Kelley, and Ava to the final week, so it’s pretty bizarre for her to go this route.
When the feeds returned, we learned that Morgan won her second consecutive Power of Veto and thus, keeping her safe for another week.
If Lauren goes through with her plan, we’ll have Ashley, Keanu, and Will on the block on Thursday.
Out of them, Keanu will probably win the BB Blockbuster since he’s proven to be a competition beast, which could indicate we’ll be losing either Ashley or Will this week.

In that case, Ashley will probably go.
The Big Brother game has undergone significant changes, drawing comparisons to The Challenge due to its last-minute twists and increased opportunities to avoid elimination.
But it’s really taking away from the social aspect of the game, which was far and away the best part of it. Alliances are pointless this season because each heat provides numerous opportunities for safety.
What are your thoughts on the trajectory of the season and the Veto winner?
