If you tuned in to the Big Brother live feeds on Thursday evening, hoping to catch some spoilers about what happened in the house after Mickey’s eviction, you were probably disappointed.
In usual weeks, the series would return a few hours after the live show to give an update on what went down in the house and, most importantly, who was in power for the next phase of the game.
But this isn’t a usual week.
Towards the end of Thursday’s episode, The Mastermind appeared with a warning that houseguests would check into the White Locust resort.
It sounds very similar to The White Lotus, which typically leaves one guest without their life at the end of a season.

The Mastermind stated that one houseguest would not be checking out of The White Locust. Whether this means we’re in for a traditional week of Big Brother, we don’t know.
With Big Brother Season 27 ending in just over three weeks, we’ll likely need some double evictions to reach the finale.
Are We Getting a Speed-Up Week of Big Brother?
That said, perhaps the twist will see a houseguest eliminated before the week is over, and then we’ll get a sped-up next round, which would make up the tension.
There’s no telling what kind of Head of Household competition we’re in for, but if it’s knockout-style, Rachel and Ashley will probably be big targets.

The fact that Rachel has made it this far as a former winner is hilarious. She’s this huge target, but she keeps manipulating people into not putting her on the block.
Kelley and Lauren would definitely nominate Rachel this week, while Vince, Morgan, and Ava would at least consider it.
Options are getting fewer, and it’s time for battle lines to be drawn. It’s hard to imagine anyone wanting a former winner to make it to the final stages of the game.
Keanu has had this insane theory that he’d win next to her because no one would want to give a former winner another win.

But he only recently started to realize that taking her to the end could be a big mistake for his game.
Meanwhile, Vince has been pondering whether he made a mistake by not getting rid of Rachel last week when he had the chance to put her on the block.
The Judges Are Headed for Disaster
It’s hard to imagine The Judges remaining loyal to one another this week, so the White Locust twist should set up some significant changes going forward.
When the BB Live feeds finally returned, Lauren was the Head of Household.

But wait, Rachel was missing from the game and we quickly learned she had been evicted due to the twist!
Rachel’s downfall will play out on Tuesday’s special episode.
Lauren nominated Ashley, Morgan, and Will for eviction.
What are your thoughts on the shifting dynamics and Rachel’s demise?
