The Running Man (Theatrical Release, November 14)
If you were thinking one adaptation of a dystopian Stephen King novel (The Long Walk) was not nearly enough for one year, you’re in luck. Because this month, we’re getting The Running Man. This novel was originally adapted in 1987, but now we’re getting a fresh new adaptation for our increasingly dystopian times. The story follows a game show where contestants run for their lives against hunters in the hopes of making it out alive and winning a cash prize. The cast includes Glen Powell, William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Emilia Jones, Michael Cera, Daniel Ezra, Jayme Lawson, Colman Domingo, and Josh Brolin.
