Otherwise, let’s get into the play-by-play.

(Disney/Jessica Perez)

A woman is in a parking garage trying to go home when a man seemingly attacks her and kisses her. Apparently, it’s her boyfriend who is initiating some role-playing.

They make out, and then they find a dead body on the ground after she dropped her keys.

Morgan shows up a bit later, and Wagner seems annoyed that she’s there and that Karadec called her. She arrives and tries to avoid giving away anything as she arrives with Rhys at the scene.

It’s the museum director who is dead. And Morgan seems completely rattled as she tries to keep her cool about Rhys. She appears to have been worried that Rhys may have been behind his murder until she hears about the Time of Death.

Morgan hightails it from the crime scene, avoiding everyone and citing that she has kids’ issues. She heads back to Rhys’ hotel and steals a maid’s key card.

(Disney/Jessica Perez)

She’s already planning to head to Rhys’ room to see if Rhys has the painting. Karadec followed her there and confronted her. And she has to admit how she knows about Rhys’ scar on his shoulder from a bullet wound and the crate she saw.

Karadec is completely thrown by the fact that Morgan slept with Rhys, and she admits that she’s going to search his room without a warrant, which bugs Karadec.

Morgan searches the room while Rhys calls her, and she deflects.

The painting isn’t the one they’re looking for. Back in the car, she and Karadec talk about the entire situation, and she’s pushing for him to keep things quiet because she knows Wagner has it out for her.

She apologizes to him, and it feels very layered.

Back at the station, Wagner tries to kick Morgan off the case, but she’s eavesdropping about it anyway. She goes through the Weiss family album again.

(Disney/Jessica Perez)

Karadec tries to get Morgan to go with him, but Wagner insists that Morgan is benched. She’s left with Rhys at the station, and they have an awkward conversation about what happened between them before.

It seems like Rhys can tell that she’s lying about being on another case when she left the crime scene. When Rhys has his back turned, she unlocks his briefcase.

Karadec confronts Wagner about Morgan and insists that he works with Morgan on every case. Wagner calls him out for leaving the scene with Morgan earlier and for struggling to keep up with them.

Karadec officially puts his neck out for Morgan, admitting that he’ll take the blame if Morgan messes up again.

He’s vague about the nature of his agreement with Wagner as he and Morgan head to Cyrus’s apartment to check on him. There’s someone else there, and Morgan pulls her stunt of asking questions when she recognizes that Cyrus’s partner may have been behind the theft.

(Disney/Jessica Perez)

Emilio makes a run for it, and Morgan and Karadec have to chase him. He tries to steal a car, but it doesn’t work, and they haul him into the station.

Arthur calls Morgan and tells him about a guy attacking him for Roman’s backpack. He warns Morgan about the people chasing the backpack and the danger this guy might pose to her.

During the interrogation, Wagner tries to accuse Emilio of being Jean Baptiste. While Morgan and Rhys watch the interview, Morgan asks Rhys about his scars, and he tells her how he got the bullet wound to the shoulder.

Meanwhile, as Emilio talks, he takes off his shirt, revealing a dozen scars, including one on his shoulder. Morgan also notes the ink on his hand.

It gives Morgan a clue, and she enlists everyone to search Emilio’s office. There they find the painting.

(Disney/Jessica Perez)

Wagner holds a press conference giving an update. They are charging him with Cyrus’ murder and the theft of the painting.

Morgan brings the Weiss family to the precinct to see the painting.

Meanwhile, at the gym Arthur hangs out at, Soto shows up to talk to him. He clocks her as a cop right away. She asks him about the guy who attacked him, and shows him a picture of that guy.

Arthur refuses to go to the station, but Selena gives him her number and insists that the guy after him is very dangerous.

Rhys departs, and Morgan is frustrated that the painting isn’t going to the family. But the elder woman says that the painting isn’t their painting. The eyes are too white, and they aren’t like hers. It’s a fake.

(Disney/Jessica Perez)

Morgan realizes that Rhys is the one who took it. She runs to catch Rhys in the elevator and confronts him about having the painting. Morgan demands to see what’s in his briefcase.

She doesn’t find the painting in there, but she looks through his paperwork and discovers something else. The Fosters are frauds and most of their paintings are fake.

They’re in serious debt and arranged to have the painting stolen for the insurance payout.

Cyrus realized the Fosters had given him a fake watch in exchange for stealing the fake painting, and he confronted them when he realized his own was fake. They killed him.

Morgan realizes that they’ll probably be on their yacht. Karadec and Wagner head to the marina to catch The Fosters. Morgan is at the station getting the painting authenticated.

Daphne and Oz head to the Fosters’ home. And Arthur calls Selena because he’s being followed by someone, and he decides to lead them to the station.

(Disney/Bahareh Ritter)

Selena wants Arthur to stay on the line with her until he gets there, but he hangs up to her concern.

The Fosters try to hold Karadec at flare gunpoint, and Wagner swoops in.

The wife leads them to the painting, but it’s gone. Rhys, in a scuba suit, took it and got away, but Morgan met him at his car to confront him. He’s shocked that she figured it out.

Rhys basically asks her to trust him. He planned on giving it back to the right family.

The team grabs drinks together. Wagner shows up there to tell her how valuable she is and sort of apologize to her. He tells her she’d be on for the next case.

Wagner lets her know he knows Jean Baptiste likely stole the painting; he heard about a guy in a wetsuit. The family gets their painting back.

(Disney/Christine Bartolucci)

Selena calls Arthur, but we see his phone on the ground. An accident has happened to his truck, and he’s gone.

Karadec watches Morgan and Wagner talk at the bar, looking jealous, while the mysterious man who attacked Arthur is also there, watching Morgan.
