Invader Comics has just launched a brand-new Kickstarter campaign for a new collection called The Kick-Ass Kung Fu and Kaiju Double Feature.

The new double feature comes from writer Keith Foster and will feature Kodoja: Symphony of Madness, the fourth installment in the Kaiju-starring story with art by Will Perkins, Tony Gregori, and Carlo Romero. Check out the text solicit (with the VHS-inspired cover art) and the 1970s preview pages below.

Symphony of Madness is the fourth and final volume of Kodoja, and can be enjoyed as a standalone graphic novel or as the final of the Kodoja series! In this volume, giant monsters continue to surface and overwhelm the earth as the disembodied pieces of Kodoja, once thought destroyed, reappear to fight the monsters! This is mega-kaiju action at its finest; a story SO MASSIVE it took three interior artists to capture the giant monster madness!

Three Protectors Volume 2 features artwork by Jhomar Soriano and Joaquin Perez. Check out the text solicit and artwork below.

Meanwhile, over in Three Protectors, intergalactic Kung Fugods have kidnapped masters from across the galaxy with one purpose: all-out war! The prize? The collective Kung Fu knowledge of the entire universe. Shaw Brothers-style Kung Fu meets cosmic odyssey in this newest joint from the creators of Kodoja! There has never been a more epic spectacle of combat put in print than Three Protectors–and for Volume 2.

Additionally, the Kickstarer campaign features a metal bookmark that is available through certain tiers.

“I’ve always loved this kind of cult classic cinema,” says writer and creator, Keith Foster, “and there’s no better way to take these stories to the next level than within the pages of a comic book. We don’t have to worry about budgets, safety equipmentor special effects–we justcreate the best damn stories we can and let them come alive in readers’ minds. I couldn’t have done any of this without my incredible creative partner Rory Smith who helped me launch both series, and now we’re bringing them home with a jam-packed creative line-up to capture the magnitude of these stories.”
