The winners of one of the biggest and longest-running awards, the Hugos, were announced this weekend at the 83rd World Science Fiction Convention, held this year in Seattle, Washington. Find below the literary winners of the 2025 Hugo Awards, Lodestar Award for Best Young Adult Book, and Astounding Award for Best New Writer.
In addition to the above, Hugo Awards were given to Dune: Part Two (Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form); Star Trek: Lower Decks: “The New Next Generation” (Best Dramatic Form, Short Form); Caves of Qud (Best Game or Interactive Work); Neil Clarke (Best Editor, Short Form); Diana M. Pho (Best Editor, Long Form); Alyssa Winans (Best Professional Artist); Uncanny (Best Semiprozine); Black Nerd Problems (Best Fanzine); Eight Days of Diana Wynne Jones (Best Fancast); Abigail Nussbaum (Best Fan Writer); and Sara Felix (Best Fan Artist).
