The White Wolf rides again! Netflix has officially confirmed that The Witcher will return for Season 4 on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

This season marks a big change: Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games) steps into the role of Geralt of Rivia, taking over from Henry Cavill, who led the series through its first three seasons.

The new teaser sets the tone with Geralt facing off against a ghostly wraith, delivering the ominous line: “With these words, your mortal shell shall meet my fate in fiery Hell.” It’s a battle that promises plenty of dark magic, danger, and classic Witcher grit.

According to the official synopsis, Season 4 picks up after the Continent-shaking events of Season 3. With war raging and enemies closing in, Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri find themselves separated, each on their own perilous journey. Along the way, they’ll encounter surprising new allies and face decisions that could determine whether they ever reunite again.

Hemsworth’s casting was first announced back in October 2022, when Cavill bid farewell to the role, passing the swords and medallion to his successor. Now, fans will finally get to see Hemsworth’s take on the iconic monster hunter.

Mark your calendars—The Witcher returns just in time for Halloween, and it’s bringing monsters, war, and brand-new adventures. Watch the teaser below and get ready for the new season.
