Search behavior vs. draft behavior

Search behavior looks like this: “Give me the best marketing strategy for X.” You skim it, roll your eyes and move on.

Draft behavior looks completely different.

It sounds more like this: “Give me three strategies: one aggressive, one conservative and one contrarian. Assume I’m a VP of Marketing at a Series B startup. I want punchy language, zero fluff, and I need to fit it into a 60-second pitch. After you draft, critique your own output and tighten it.”

One is asking for an answer. The other is building an output through iteration. And that’s just the first prompt.

I’ve found that real magic happens between version 15 and version 25. Early versions are rough, and they’re supposed to be. They’re the outline of a canvas. But the later rounds are where the output stops being “AI content” and starts feeling like your content.
