- “What if the apocalypse, but j/k?” isn’t a bad way to think about this novel, in which the folks in a small town in Massachusetts receive a warning that a missile is headed straight for them.
- By the time they find out it was a false alarm, they’ve already said and done things they can’t take back.
A big deal for any writer, the Discover Prize comes with increased visibility and promotion in Barnes & Noble stores and across the chain’s web and social presences.
