What’s going on with baby Tesero?
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 7-07-25 have Leo wondering if the screaming baby is ill.
That sounds like a set-up for a rumored reveal that I was sure wasn’t accurate.
If Baby Tesero Is Sick, It Could Go In A Couple of Directions
Although Tesero has been fussy, it hasn’t been anything abnormal for a newborn, but that may be about to change.
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 7-07-25, Tesero’s loud screaming is irritating Ari and convincing Gabi that Leo doesn’t know how to handle a baby.
I’m thrilled that Gabi is involved — I loved it when she, Will, and Sonny were raising baby Ari together, and this is the closest we can come to that now — but I don’t love Leo’s comment that something may be seriously wrong with the baby.
First of all, it would be unforgivable if the baby dies, especially since Sophia has mixed feelings and may decide she wants him back.
I don’t think this is about that, though.
In soap opera land, bringing a sick baby to the hospital is often a precursor to some test revealing who the child’s father is.
There have been rumors for months about the baby not being Tate’s.
I never thought that made sense, and I still don’t.
Tate was the only person Sophia slept with on-screen, and if the baby had been Aaron’s (the most popular guess), then Aaron would have given some sign that this was the case when he visited.
Still, this is Salem, so anything is possible. I still haven’t forgotten that time Belle was arrested for murder based on nothing but the fact that her coat was missing a button.
Of course, there is also another possibility.
Nobody knows that Sophia is the mother who left her baby in the Safe Haven box, and Tate doesn’t even know that his baby was born.
It seems likely that taking the baby to the hospital will help identify his parents.
If that happens, Sophia’s life will fall apart.
She is pretending to still be pregnant and is keeping it secret that she relinquished her baby.
Tate finding out will be bad enough, but if her mother learns what she did, she will be furious.
Hopefully, it all comes out soon, without any harm coming to the baby.

Surprise (NOT!) — EJ Frames Chanel
I predicted a while ago that EJ would mess with the memory card to make it seem like Chanel was the one who shot him, and it looks like that will happen this week.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of July 7, 2025, suggest that Jada and Belle discover something shocking on the memory card, after which Jada interrogates Chanel.
Chanel should have expected this. If you’re going to threaten EJ Dimera, he’s going to push back hard.
This trick isn’t likely to work. Chanel was with Paulina worrying about where Johnny was, and none of the other would-be shooters saw her near the mansion.
If Belle sees through this nonsense, that might be the beginning of the end of her and EJ.
She’ll be more determined than ever to win her case if she realizes EJ is playing dirty, and he’ll regret strong-arming a judge into putting her on the job.
Tony… or Andre?
Tony has been acting out of character recently.
He was so uninterested in the family business a few years ago that Anna had to be engaged to Roman to get back at him for refusing to play ball.
We love writing about Days of Our Lives as much as you love watching it.

I’m calling it now: this is not Tony. It’s Andre.
Tony turns out to be Andre in disguise so often that I used to joke that Tony didn’t exist, and his behavior is awfully suspicious right now.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 7-07-25 don’t say anything about a Tony/Andre switch, but I can’t help thinking it’s coming.
Can Someone Tell Me What The Heck We Need Gwen For?
No offense to Emily O’Brien. She’s a great actress, but Gwen is a pointless character.
We already had a villain who had the necklace and wouldn’t give it back: Melinda Trask.
There was no need for the necklace to travel halfway around the world and back again, especially not with it landing around Gwen’s neck.
Honestly, I’m over the entire necklace storyline.
Julie is being overly judgmental, especially considering that Doug Senior began Salem life as a con artist who pretended to be in love with her.
I love Julie, but when she gets in that judgmental mood, it’s obnoxious, especially now that Doug is no longer here to help rein her in.
Plus, we now have this ridiculous storyline with a stereotypical goon who plans to kidnap Ari and possibly Holly to force Doug III to give him money he doesn’t have.
I love Peyton Meyer, but Doug III’s story is terrible, and Gwen’s inclusion for no apparent reason doesn’t help anything.
I’m Afraid To Trust Marlena Will Get A Decent Storyline
The last set of writers consistently disappointed me with their lack of interesting medical storylines.
It always devolved into nonsense, usually involving doppelgangers or magical devices (like that awful story about Gabi controlling Julie’s pacemaker.)
We have new writers, but the summer preview video suggests that Marlena will have an out-of-body experience that convinces her that Stefano is alive.
Leaving aside that no one can play that role like the late Joe Mascalo, I was hoping that Marlena’s illness would be realistic rather than yet another excuse for supernatural nonsense.
Random Days of Our Lives Spoilers for the Week of 7-07-25
- There are a few developments in the Philip/Xander storyline, the most significant of which is Sarah telling Philip to come clean. He won’t — he wants to preserve a relationship with Xander,
- Alex and Stephanie share yet another romantic evening, during which I’m sure Alex will reiterate how easy it is to become a bestselling author and how Stephanie should quit her day job.
- Chad and Cat bond. Yawn. That is all.
