Here is a wrap-up of all the news you need to know from Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

FROM Season 4 is just about to premiere, but MGM+ is already looking to the future for the Harold Perrinau thriller.

The streaming has confirmed a renewal for FROM Season 5, which will see the mind-bending twists come full circle.

That’s right, FROM will end with Season 5.

Given the series’s success, there was always the hope that it would continue for more, but it sounds like the show will reach a natural conclusion, at least according to a statement from the show’s creative team.

“We are wildly excited to announce that we’ve officially begun work on season 5,” said Jeff Pinkner, John Griffin, and Jack Bender in a joint statement.

“Which means we will get the chance to see our story to its conclusion. Which means questions will be answered.”

“Answers will be questioned. And there will surely be a cascade of tears and terrors in-between. We are thankful for the support of our friends and partners at MGM+.

“And we are grateful beyond measure for the mad passion of our entire FROMily. We’re excited to share season 4 with you and hope it whets your appetite for what’s to come,” the statement continues.

FROM Season 4 premieres on MGM+ on Sunday, April 19. Return to TV Fanatic for reviews and interviews. We’ll have you covered!

Meanwhile, Deadline has shared details of a prospective new entry in the Fire Country and Sheriff Country universe.

Med Country is the current working title, and as you probably guessed, it’s a medical take on the franchise.

Honestly, it’s a little bit of a surprise that CBS has waited this long to entertain this type of show in the franchise.

With Watson getting canceled after two seasons, there’s certainly an opening for a new medical drama on the network.

However, this new project is so early into development that it hasn’t even been pitched to CBS.

Still, after the success of the other two shows in the franchise, the network will probably want to make this show happen.

If it does, we can probably expect a three-hour trip to Edgewater on Friday evenings each week.

Elsewhere in the TV world today, Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for the feature-length series finale of Good Omens.

Here’s the official logline:

Good Omens 3 picks up where the ineffable story left off in Season Two as the beloved and unlikely duo – angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley return to face their most epic and personal adventure yet. Their millennia-long friendship has been fractured ever since Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) accepted the offer to return to Heaven, leaving Crowley (David Tennant) behind. Now, as the newly appointed Supreme Archangel, Aziraphale is tasked with overseeing the Second Coming, a monumental responsibility that weighs heavily on him, and is made worse when his plans cause some consternation among the other angels. Meanwhile, heartbroken Crowley finds himself at rock bottom, wandering the streets of Soho. As the fate of the universe hangs in the balance, Aziraphale and Crowley must confront their relationship, heal old wounds and rediscover their bond. From navigating London’s gangsters to thwarting Hellish threats, they face personal betrayals and the complexities of their own emotions in this timeless expedition. Together, they must decide whether their friendship – and the world itself – is worth saving.

It’s pretty wild that Prime Video is calling a 90-minute finale an entire season, but I guess there must be some legal red tape to explain it.

Good Omens Season 3 stars Michael Sheen and David Tennant as angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley, respectively.

Also reprising their roles are Doon Mackichan as Michael, Gloria Obianyo as Uriel, Liz Carr as Saraqael, Paul Chahidi as Sandalphon, Quelin Sepulveda as Muriel, and Sir Derek George Jacobi as The Metatron.

Check out the trailer below and be sure to catch the Good Omens series finale on May 13, 2026.

In other TV show trailers, AMC+ and Shudder have unveiled the official trailer for The Terror: Devil in Silver, the latest chapter in the anthology series.

Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) headlines the third iteration of the series and also serves as executive producer.

He stars as Pepper – a working-class moving man who, through a combination of bad luck and a bad temper, finds himself wrongfully committed to New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital – an institution filled with those society would rather forget.

There, he must contend with patients working against him, doctors harboring grim secrets, and perhaps even the Devil himself.

As Pepper navigates a hellscape where nothing is as it seems, he finds that the only path to freedom is to face the entity that thrives on the suffering within New Hyde’s walls – but doing so may prove that the worst demons of all live inside him.

The highly anticipated entry also stars Judith Light, CCH Pounder, Aasif Mandvi, John Benjamin Hickey, Stephen Root, Michael Aronov, Marin Ireland, Chinaza Uche, Hampton Fluker, b, Hayward Leach, and Philip Ettinger.

The limited series premieres May 7.
