Pope Leo responds to Trump following his criticism over the Iran war

President Trump criticized Pope Leo XIV on Sunday over the pontiff’s comments regarding the Iran war, saying, “he’s a man that doesn’t believe in stopping crime.” On Monday, the pope responded to the president, saying in part “too many innocent people are being killed.”
