It doesn’t matter if these couples were short-term or long-term. They shared some of the sexiest kisses in the last 10 years.
You know the kind, when you can’t look away because it’s so steamy it might fog up your television.
You’ve sometimes waited weeks, if not years, for those longing looks to become a passionate kiss.
Some of these steamy kisses are iconic and won’t surprise anyone, like Jamie and Claire’s reunion kiss or Kate and Anthony’s first kiss, but you may be introduced to other new couples, too.

The show may be over, but The Way Home’s fieriest kisses came from a couple separated by time and commitments — Kat Landry and Thomas Coyle.
Thomas made Kat feel more alive in less time than anyone else on The Way Home.
Kat liked to believe her heart belonged to another, but when faced with the possibility that Thomas might be killed in the past, she walked right out of Elliot’s life with the hope of either thwarting Thomas’s death or, at least, saying goodbye.
She didn’t know at the time that he planned to look dead so that Cyrus Goodwin wouldn’t steal his life. The fear for his life and the passion she felt for him were real.

He asked her one more time if he could carry a piece of her heart in his, and she said yes. Thomas pressed a coin into her hand that would save the Landry family farm, but before he urged her to run, to save herself and him, they locked eyes again.
They shared a kiss so passionate that the memory of it lived for centuries and captured the hearts of fans, so much so that many of us couldn’t let them go, long after their time had passed.
Helen and Erik — Sweet Magnolias Season 4 Episode 5
Netflix’s comfort series may be on hiatus.
Still, Sweet Magnolias‘ hottest kisses came from a couple who had been broken up for over a season and appreciated the second chance they’d been given.
There is nothing sexier than a rain kiss, and Erik Whitley and Helen Decatur served up the sexiness.
Helen was stuck in a horrible storm when a tree fell on her car. When Erik feared she was in danger, he drove out in the storm to rescue her.
He appeared like a white knight, drenched, soaking wet, but he managed to lift her car off the tree and get Helen out safely.
It seemed as if all their problems slowly melted away when he risked his life to save her. Erik grabbed her in relief, and they passionately kissed as the rain poured down.
It was a moment many fans couldn’t stop talking about as they longed for their reunion, but we never imagined it would be that steamy.
Lucy and Wyatt — Timeless Season 2 Episode 3
Lucy and Wyatt tried to fight fate for so long, even though fans knew as soon as Timeless started that those two were destined to end up together.
When Wyatt and Lucy were separated at the beginning of Season 2, it crushed them because they depended on each other.
After they reunited, their relationship shifted, and you could see it when they were in Hollywood. Lucy looked terrified as she serenaded him to “You Made Me Love You.”
That moment changed everything as the two stared into each other’s eyes and realized the time had come to talk honestly.
Wyatt finally admitted he was ready to move on and that Lucy had saved him as many times as he’d save her.
When they finally kissed for real, it was so much sexier than when they pretended to be a couple. It included longing and passion; now they could admit their feelings for each other.
The version of them in the pool was even sexier than them alongside the pool. They couldn’t contain their passion, so they jumped into the water to try to cool off.
Max and Ellis – Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 6
Max and Ellis may have hit some frustrating bumps in the road during Wild Cards Season 3, but the second season’s high is euphoric.
Speaking of “high,” the episode saw the two accidentally consuming drugs while working a murder case that had them trapped in a mansion.
But we got so much vulnerability between the two, especially when Ellis opened up about losing his brother Daniel, and what it has been like no longer having his “person.”
He regaled Max with a heartfelt story about his brother and how an initial fear of a cricket became a symbol of their devotion to each other.
Ellis’ emotion in that moment lures you in, and Max’s sincere “I’ll be your cricket” carries so much weight that it leaves you holding your breath.
The intimacy of that scene, given the vulnerable emotions, is underscored by the two being nearly a hair’s breadth apart the whole time.
We have the sound of thunder in the background, shadows and light dancing across their faces from the fireplace, and a genuinely steamy, sultry kiss after Max’s quiet pledge. It’s a moment you want to stay suspended in forever.
Brady and Brie – Virgin River Season 6 Episode 5
We have two words for you, my friends. Pool. Table.
Brady and Brie have been the hot/cold couple who practically rival Jack and Mel at this point on Virgin River. One thing that’s undeniable about Brady and Brie is their scorching-hot chemistry.
So when Brie has to relay news about how Brady’s current girlfriend has been lying to him, it didn’t go over too well for a man who admits in that scene that he must’ve deserved it.
Brady notoriously doesn’t ever feel like he’s worthy of anything good, which is why Brie literally voicing to him that he’s worthy of love is enough to make you tear up, gasp a bit, too.
And Brady telling her that the only reason he even knows love at all is because of her, well, it’s no wonder that this heated moment led to a passionate, steamy kiss that had you leaning into the screen, enraptured.
That steam intensifies when the two carry that passionate makeout session to the pool table and really take things to a steamy level. Yup. We’re definitely going to need a cold shower after reliving that.
Belly and Conrad – The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 8
Whether you’re a Belly & Conrad shipper or a Belly & Jeremiah shipper, steamy kisses are steamy kisses.
Belly and Conrad, having a much-needed talk under the Parisian moonlight, one that had been years in the making, was such a satisfying moment.
Things that were left unsaid finally came out, and Belly heard what she needed to hear from Conrad about how his grief over his mother caused him to push her away, and the things that ultimately led to the downfall of their relationship.
Belly was as wrapped up in the romantic tension of that moment as the viewers, leading to a kiss that had her asking him to come home with her.
It resulted in a non-stop, smoking hot and sexy makeout session that went from the taxi they took, to the stairwell on their way up to her apartment, and finally to the bedroom.
It was the prelude to what is inarguably the sexiest, steamiest scene of The Summer I Turned Pretty. And it definitely makes the list of the steamiest kisses of the past decade, hands down.
Doug and Tina – Minx Season 1 Episode 7
Minx remains an underrated gem that should’ve been on air for seasons to come, and so much of that is rooted in the great characters who buoyed the series.
One of them is Jake Johnson’s Doug.
At this point, it’s sort of an unspoken thing that Jake Johnson is often behind some of the best onscreen kisses in existence, and the Minx kiss between Doug and Tina is no exception.
After celebrating that they sold out their magazine everywhere, the pair has a giggle fit.
Doug humbles himself enough to put some respect on his Girl Friday’s name by conceding that she was right about his behavior, how in over his head he was, and for basically calling him out as she’s so adept at doing.
Humility is sexy.
Tina thanks him for an apology and also whispers in his ear that he was right, too.
It culminates in an unspoken moment of sexy tension that nails quiet consent when he clearly signifies with all body and facial reactions and no words that he really wants to kiss her, and she does the same.

Still, he wraps his arms around her, pulling her into a steamy kiss wherein he’s practically devouring her, and it truly is one of the hottest kisses EVER.
Lucy and Tim – The Rookie Season 7 Episode 6
Chenford has had a few steamy kisses that made us swoon over the years. Their first one was thrilling, and it was followed by another airplane kiss while undercover that truly revealed just how deeply those emotions ran for both of them.
But if we have to choose just one that’s the steamiest, then it’ll have to be The Rookie Season 7 Episode 6‘s “We shouldn’t” steamy smooch after the gala.
They couldn’t keep their hands off each other, changing up the rules of their previous agreement to make just this one exception, and it was well worth it, because whew!
Their chemistry is so undeniable, and it’s easily one of their hottest kisses to date. But surely, they’ll raise the bar again come next season.
Technically, they were on a break and trying to be good about it, but sometimes a girl can’t resist.
Magnus and Alec – Shadowhunters Season 1 Episode 12
The story of Magnus and Alec is inseparable from Freeform’s adaptation of Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments book series.
They quickly became fan favorites thanks to the performances of Matthew Daddario and Harry Shum Jr. Shadowhunters delivered numerous iconic Malec moments throughout the show’s run.
However, none arguably beats their first public lip lock in the 12th episode of the first season.
This was the turning point that defined Malec’s future because, for the first time, Alec followed his heart’s desire and chose Magnus before everyone else.
It’s not like all the praise goes only to Alec because Magnus took a huge emotional risk by crashing that wedding without any guarantees.
The tension in that room was so thick you could cut it with a knife. From Magnus’ anxious anticipation to the permanence of Alec’s choice and his mother’s opposition, there were so many moving parts.
Yet it all came together beautifully as Alec went on autopilot and marched across the room to give Magnus a kiss that screamed: “I choose us!” And not one peck on the lips – a long, present kiss.
Add Ruelle’s “War of Hearts,” and that moment will remain iconic forever.
Kate and Anthony – Bridgerton Season 2 Episode 6
Apparently, we have a thing for steamy kisses and declarations of love as a wedding is abruptly halted.
Bridgerton features many sizzling, romantic kisses, but Kate and Anthony’s forbidden romance was hard to beat. He was engaged to her sister, Edwina, yet Anthony and Kate’s chemistry spoke volumes.
Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley quickly became fan favorites and delivered many romantic moments, including sultry looks and warm touches, such as the infamous bee sting scene.
But nothing beats their first kiss in Bridgerton Season 2 Episode 6, on Anthony and Edwina’s wedding day.
Edwina finally noticed the chemistry between her sister and Anthony since he couldn’t stop staring at Kate during the vows, and called off the wedding. Kate’s humiliation prompted her to hide in the chapel closet.
Kate wanted to do the proper thing, but Anthony wouldn’t let her walk away, and the two finally shared the sizzling lip-lock fans had been waiting for.
Jamie and Claire – Outlander Season 3 Episode 6
We can’t write a list of the sexiest TV kisses without mentioning Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe).
They’ve shared some of the most sizzling moments, and it was challenging to choose only one.
While their wedding night was extremely memorable, their reunion 20 years later proved to be even sexier and more emotional.
Outlander Season 3 Episode 6 remains a fan-favorite among Jamie and Claire shippers. It showed their growth because Claire chose to return to him from the future, while Jamie seemed more humbled and grateful around Claire.
While they were initially hesitant around each other, what followed was hot, passionate kissing and sex since Jamie admitted he couldn’t keep his hands off Claire.

Shane and Ilya – Heated Rivalry Season 1 Episode 1
Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander shared several passionate kisses during Heated Rivalry, but their spontaneous and steamy rooftop kiss was unforgettable.
Shane was angry and drunk over losing the hockey award and over Ilya celebrating his win by hiding on the roof.
He started arguing with Ilya, and as Ilya grew frustrated with it, he grabbed Shane, pushed him against a wall, and kissed him with pent-up longing and passion.
What started as an angry reaction melted into a passionate kiss as they both gave in to their physical desires.
That kiss resonated not only for the sexual tension but also for its emotional nuances. You can see the moment Shane realizes what he’s done and panics.
He realized he was attracted to his rival and didn’t want to show it in front of anyone, while Ilya was even more certain of his feelings after that kiss. It jump-started their relationship.
Eve and Villanelle – Killing Eve Season 4 Episode 8
Killing Eve’s series finale was an homage to Eve and Villanelle’s relationship as they finally let their walls down and shared an intimate road trip.
When they became stranded, they shared a sleeping bag at a couple’s shelter. Villanelle took the first step by stroking Eve’s back, elevating their physical touch.
The two stole the couple’s van, and their escapades reminded us of a romantic getaway, from spontaneous dancing to sharing curly fries at a truck stop.
It showcased how well they knew each other, and Villanelle took another risk by kissing Eve on the cheek.
The kiss that followed was the moment fans had been waiting for. It was both emotional and unscripted as Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer strived to highlight the raw emotion they felt.
As Eve pulled Villanelle towards her and they made out, you could feel how happy they were that those feelings were finally out in the open. They looked positively giddy.
Conrad and Nic – The Resident Season 2 Episode 1
The Resident’s Conrad and Nic shared many romantic kisses, but their shower kiss at Chastain was definitely the steamiest.
Things were so chaotic that the couple had barely any alone time, so Conrad borrowed the keys to a colleague’s private office, which included a glass shower.
Within minutes, Conrad and Nic were making out, fogging up the glass door with their passionate kisses. It was so sexy how they kept pushing each other against the shower walls.
While they’d made out in supply closets before, this was the first time they’d done that in a work shower, and it was hot!
That steamy kiss got our hearts racing.
We wish it could have gone on even longer, but then their pagers went off.
Joe and Georgia – Ginny & Georgia Season 3 Episode 8
We still don’t know how Georgia resisted a shirtless Joe earlier in Ginny & Georgia Season 3, but all bets were off in Episode 8.
Loyalty was sexy, so when she saw his bruised knuckles from punching Gil, she kissed him.
Joe then realized Georgia was contemplating running away. Georgia begged him not to become like everyone else and judge her, saying she needed him.
That hit a nerve since he was finally the right guy for her, and it was finally their time. Before he lost his nerve, he passionately kissed her.
It became hot and heavy quickly, as the kiss grew deeper. Joe was shirtless again and peeled off Georgia’s shirt as she undid his belt.
While we didn’t see what happened next, many fans hope that the intense, passionate scene led to Georgia’s pregnancy and that Joe is the father.
