Prime Video isn’t done filming “Reacher” Season 5, but that didn’t stop the streamer from renewing the Alan Ritchson action series for another season on Monday.
The streamer reupped the popular drama for Season 6, Variety reports.
The show’s eight-episode fourth season premiered on August 12. The Season 4 finale began streaming on September 16.

Alan Ritchson is Jack Reacher — he’s delivered a performance that has captivated audiences around the world. Together with our partners at Paramount Television Studios, we couldn’t be more excited to continue this journey. ‘Reacher’ is a truly iconic series, and we’re thrilled to be on the ride with this extraordinary cast and crew for Season 6.”
On what Lee Child book will the next season of Reacher be based?
In addition to Alan Ritchson, the “Reacher” Season 4 cast included Sydelle Noel, Agnez Mo, Chris Marquette, Anggun, Marc Blucas, Kevin Weisman, Kathleen Robertson, and Kevin Corrigan.
Season 4 of the series was based on Lee Child’s “Gone Tomorrow” Reacher novel. Season 5 will follow the events of the book “Make Me,” which is the 20th book in the Reacher series. That season currently is filming in Toronto.
In related news: The “Reacher” spin-off, “Neagley” — which stars Maria Sten in the title role — dropped all eight episodes of its first season on September 16.
