U.S. denies visas to Palestinian officials ahead of U.N. General Assembly

Palestinian officials criticized the State Department’s decision to deny visas for members of the Palestinian Authority and the Palestine Liberation Organization ahead of next week’s U.N. General Assembly, calling it in a statement Thursday “an unjustified measure” that makes it harder to develop Palestinian-U.S. relations and work toward “achieving peace and stability in the region.”
