Relocation of U.S. bombers in U.K. highlights new risks for military bases

LONDON — Sometime over the weekend, all of the U.S. B-1s bombers that the Pentagon had stationed at an air base in southern England took off like a flock of startled pigeons, seemingly spooked by what may or may not have been a terrorist plot outside the base fence.
