At the beginning of Big Brother Season 27, I felt a sense of dread when Rachel Reilly was revealed as the 17th houseguest.

Not because I disliked her. She’s cemented herself as a legendary player, and putting one veteran in a house with 16 newbies was a terrible move.

But after watching her navigate the highs and lows of coming back into the game with a big target on her back, she’s one of the better parts of a surprisingly tame season.

Rachel came into the week guns blazing after winning Head of Household, and it’s made both the live feeds and the episodes on CBS funnier to watch.

She’s a master manipulator and a great throwback to the good old days of old-school Big Brother.

Her HOH reign has been one for the history books because she’s so damn intense.

After Lauren won the Power of Veto, it’s been interesting watching her try not to use it to save Vince.

Rachel had previously nominated Mickey and Morgan alongside Vince, but Wednesday’s episode wrapped up with Lauren removing Vince from the block.

Rachel Has Shaken Up Big Brother Again

Then, Rachel promised to unleash chaos on the house and did just that by nominating Rylie in Vince’s place.

It was peak Big Brother, showcasing that maybe this season could turn a corner. Rachel has drawn a line in the sand, but has she also set up her own departure?

As TV Fanatic previously reported, a new alliance featuring Rachel, Ashley, Will, Morgan, and Vince, named The Judges, has formed this week.

Their goal initially was to get Mickey out of the game and save Morgan from the block. But sadly, Vince may not be as tight with the alliance as he’s led them to believe.

He has other people, such as Kelley, Keanu, Lauren, Kat, and, of course, Rylie, on the other side of the house.

Then there’s Ava, who is determined to vote with the house and doesn’t believe that any scenario leaves enough votes to end Rylie’s game.

Mickey is also a big target for eviction because her allies have slowly turned their backs on her this week as they’ve compared notes and realized she’s been selling them a bunch of lies.

Should Mickey Get Evicted?

Her influence in the game is unmatched, so it isn’t a bad idea to get rid of her, but these houseguests tend to make the most bizarre decisions.

All of that hinges on the BB Blockbuster.

But lo and behold, during the live eviction episode, Mickey won the BB Blockbuster and removed herself from the block.

When it came to the eviction, Rylie was evicted, with a vote of 5-4, becoming the sixth person to leave the Big Brother house this summer.

This development shakes the game up quite a bit because there’s no telling what will happen next.

As always, it will come down to who is in power next.

What are your thoughts on the developments? Do you think it panned out as expected, or was the eviction a mistake?
