White Ash has been one of the most interesting fantasy comics I have seen come out of Kickstarter. In fact, at one time, it got a mainstream release in comic shops, but it has come to my attention that some people may not have heard about it.
White Ash presents itself as an urban fantasy comic book but manages to do much more than that, becoming a mix between an anthology series while following its main story which only makes it so much better. To top that off, it has beautiful artwork by Connor Hughes (Void Rivals) and a cast of endearing characters.
White Ash vol. 1 represents years of this work coalescing into one giant volume, with exclusives you will only be able to get through this campaign! Make sure to check this out if you’re a fan of fantasy, Dungeons & Dragons, and even Twin Peaks!
KAMTHOLOGY DREAMS: A Manga Anthology

Kamthology has actually appeared on Kickstarter before, following a successful run, and for that reason, I wanted to make sure it got a mention in our Round-Up.
This small project carries huge potential. Kamthology is a collection of seven standalone comics, totaling over 70 pages, mixing both color and black-and-white manga. It’s geared toward fans of mature, darker-themed shoujo manga. Essentially, you’re getting an anthology filled with stories that will make you think deeply, with fantastic artwork all created by Kam.
The best part? The stories follow the theme of dreams, each story stranger than the last, but just as beautiful. I have a lot of praise for this series; it’s great to see stories go above and beyond what people expect, and with this project about to be funded, I implore you to check it out before it’s gone!

Jet Set Radio inspired 60+ PAGES Comic/Manga! A young man joins a crew to get back what was stolen and regain control over his life!!!
This project first caught my eye thanks to the protagonist’s pose in the thumbnail, instantly recognizable as a nod to Itsuki Minami from Air Gear. That alone made me curious, but the deeper I looked, the more it became clear: this book is pure fun.
Storm Rail Riderz wears its influences proudly, calling back to Jet Set Radio with a manga twist, and setting its story in the chaos of Turbulyn City (yes, “turbulent”). It’s a love letter to freedom, rebellion, and doing sick tricks on skates. At the center is Avian, a young man stuck in a dead-end corporate life until he’s pulled into the vibrant underground world of the Riderz, where rival crews clash for respect with style and speed.
With bold art, an interesting premise, and a 17-page preview already live on GlobalComix, this is a project worth checking out.

Alien Books is back with another must-see project, this time celebrating the legendary Juan Giménez with a Kickstarter-exclusive box set of his classic sci-fi graphic novels. Best known internationally for The Metabarons, Giménez’s art is instantly recognizable for its meticulous detail, powerful sense of scale, and ability to merge gritty realism with the fantastic. This collection brings together Black Star, Gangrene, War III (now in color), and Mutant in oversized magazine-style softcovers, all housed in a deluxe box set only available through Kickstarter.
Each title explores bold sci-fi worlds, from interstellar escapes to dystopian wastelands, to the human cost of endless war. Giménez’s collaborations with celebrated writers like Ricardo Barreiro and Carlos Trillo showcase the full range of his storytelling.
