WEBTOON Entertainment is heading to LightBox Expo for the first time, bringing an exciting lineup of creator-focused panels from October 24–26, 2025, at the Pasadena Convention Center. Known for hit titles like Lore Olympus, unOrdinary, and Suitor Armor, WEBTOON’s programming will dive into what it takes to build a successful career in webcomics—from artistic growth and storytelling craft to the business side of digital publishing.
The weekend will feature some of the platform’s most popular creators, including Purpah (Suitor Armor), GRAVEWEAVER (I’m the Grim Reaper), ROSEOAK (Not So Silent), and Ucheomaaa (Vibe Check!), who will share their journeys from hobbyists to professional webcomic artists. They’ll discuss the realities of turning creative passion into a sustainable career, managing global fandoms, and navigating the challenges of webcomic entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, WEBTOON’s editorial team—behind major hits like Lore Olympus, The Mafia Nanny, and Osora—will host a separate session that breaks down what makes a comic stand out in today’s crowded digital landscape. Editors and producers Bre Boswell, Ethan LeBlanc, Sonia Tagari, and Mickey Anda will share insights on storytelling, visual identity, and character development, helping creators understand what resonates most with readers.
